    Los Molinos - Sierra Cabrera

Los Molinos is an old water mill on the banks of the Rio del Aqua that has been transformed in to an exceptionally unique house. As you can see in the pictures there is not only a small intimate terrace in front of the mill but also several splendid terraces with comfortable sun beds, sun chairs, a pergola, and a swimming pool of 90 square meters. The swimming pool is filled with NATURAL water from the spring.

In Los Molinos, you will be able to reach absolute rest. We are extremely impressed and touched by Casa Los Molinos and the undamaged nature around it. We find it difficult to put into words what we feel. We do hope that the pictures will speak for themselves.

The mill has its original ancient tiles and the ancient wooden beams. The extremely thick walls are made from chopped nature stone and the wall is finished with original Yesso used in this area.

All the restorations were done by hand with natural materials and building techniques just like when the mill was build about 450 years ago. By using original natural materials and working according to the old methods, we have been successful in restoring the primary ambience that the mill had when it was build.

Once you open the ancient door with a huge outdated key, you will find a bedroom to your right and a shower and toilet to your left. Please note that there is ONLY 1 key. The key is so old we still have not found any one who can make a copy. PLEASE do not lose it 

In the main room, the beautiful kitchen is dominated by red and bruin granite. Naturally, there is also an oven, a washing machine and all other ""modern"" necessary appliances.

You can enjoy the sensation and texture of an ancient house yet at the same time benefit from modern comfort.

In case you wish to eat inside the mill, we have placed a massive wooden table with original Spanish chairs next to the kitchen.

The living room is a royal space with sofas and many large cushions. Lie down listening to music, the birds outside or just do nothing. In addition, if you finally want to read all these books you brought with you there are two large reading chairs.

In the extension of the living room, you find a second sleeping room with a king-size bed. We have placed indirect lights on the walls in order to keep the mood and make use of the irregular texture of the walls.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh and especially enjoy the view. From each window you have a different panorama. Once you open the big windows in the bedroom you will smell the scent of eucalyptus. These enormous trees flap in front of these windows. From the kitchen window you can see the sea and from the living room windows the canyon.

The house is suitable for four persons. Since there are two extra beds it can be also accommodate up to six persons.
