As the name already suggests this amazing villa is surrounded by a garden full of palms and other subtropical trees and plants. The whole villa but mainly the dinning/living room is very much inspired by the Moorish architecture.
The colours are perfectly used to match and blend in with the garden, the terraces and the swimming pool. The combination of soft yellow, pink white and a touch of ochre gives the whole a very spanish/Moorish atmosphere.
I am sure that you have noticed already that a lot of creativity has been invested in this villa. The owner is an artist and some of his works decorate the villa.
Once you enter the villa you will pass by the swimming pool and a very large terrace.
From the royal entrance you can enter the different rooms.
The dinning room with its blue mano furniture has a view over Mojacar and the sea. When not outside it is this room that transforms into the living room.
The whole villa has a central heating which is very unusual for these parts of Spain. There is no need to worry if the weather gets a bit chilly in the evening.
The bathroom is a jewel done with typical Spanish tiles, Moorish windows and an exceptionally spacious round bathtub which offers more then enough space and comfort for two.
In the bath room you will also find the second toilet, bidet and washbasin.
The Master bedroom has a generous queen size bed and the TV room has another singe bed.
Breakfast can be enjoyed on the”little terrace” next to the kitchen. It is the perfect place to start the day. Soft sunrays come through the trees and plants that surround the terrace. This quite terrace is the place to have the first cup of coffee in the morning. The kitchen is small yet offers all you need to prepare a delicious meal while looking into the garden.
Since one lives virtually out side the house most of the year in the south of Spain it is very important that one can find a place to be alone or just read a book in the shade or in the sun. While writing this text it is almost the end of January yet it is 22 degrees outside and the sun rays reflect over the swimming pool. Villa Palmera has several terraces but I believe that you will spend a lot of time in and around the pool all year round.
Villa Palmera is an accommodation for guests who value comfort and privacy in combination with the incredible nature of Cabo de Gata.
